My
style is an expressive realism I call Energized Realism.
I render the image as realistic representation but I do it in
an exaggerated expressive manner. I do this by applying more paint
than is necessary to create the image, creating more of a sculpture
than a flat image. I do this so that the viewer can feel the painter
painting the painting. I want to convey the joy and energy I get
from executing a painting. For me painting is a dance, in fact
I listen to loud music and dance while I am painting. I generally use a simple palette in order to focus the viewer on the form more than the color and to emphasize harmony.
I
am also a pet artist doing pet portraits from photos. You can
supply the photos or if you live in the Los Angeles area, I will
take them. Click here for the pet portrait
commissioning process.
Finally,
I create websites for artists and teach them to maintain them
themselves.
Thank
You,
Frank Wuts
